About
Same human as the consultancy. Different front door — this one's for the family.
I’m John Brantly. I’ve spent 40 years building systems for a living — and lately I’ve pointed all of it at a quieter problem: helping capable parents stay capable, and helping the family tech person stop drowning in being on-call forever.
I call this role the Tech Steward — the one your folks trust with the keys to their whole digital life. Not the unpaid IT grunt. The keeper. It only works on trust, which is exactly why I keep it in the family instead of handing it to some company’s cloud.
I’m doing this in real time with my own dad: solving the actual problems, building the actual tools, and writing it all down so you don’t need four decades of chops to take care of your own folks. Your parents aren’t past it — they just never learned this part.
They’ve still got it. You’ve got this.
The consulting side of my work lives separately at johnbrantly.com. This place is its own thing — for families, not clients.
